...And another recipe:
Easiest Fudge Recipe Ever!
Neither Belle nor Mike like real-sweet sweets-they'll both leave the frosting and eat the cake. So we came up with this dense, slightly chewy and rich variation on the traditional sugary fudge. Take delight in offering this to all of your friends and neighbors who love fudge, and those who thought they didn't.
Dark Chocolate Fudge
Makes 1 8x8 baking pan: 32 1 x 2" pieces
Ingredients:
One can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
16 oz chocolate--we used a mix of Ghirardelli 60% Cacao chips and 72% Cacao baking discs
Instructions:
Combine ingredients in medium saucepan over low-to-medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts.
Pour into lightly-greased 8x8 baking pan, cover and cool in refrigerator until fudge is set; about a half-hour.
We're going to be baking and candy-making up every day in the next few days, leading up to delivering treats up to our nighbors early next week. Hope you all have a fun last-weekend-before-Christmas!
